Our guidelines for conduct and play during sessions

Children are to be supervised by their responsible adult at all times and in all areas of the play cafe, unless specifically stated otherwise.

Consumption of food or beverages not acquired from our cafe is prohibited, we ask this to keep us sustainable, but more importantly to minimise allergy risks.

No shoes are allowed in our play space. In the interests of health and safety we ask that all adults and children wear clean socks whilst inside the Play area. Disposable socks are available for purchase should you need them. Shoes can be stored in the designated areas.

Prams, coats, backpacks and large shopping bags must be left in the buggy park or stored underneath the blue seats, please do not bring bags and coats into the play area. Our storage area is safe, but is not locked, therefore we do not recommend leaving any valuables. If any personal items are lost, please contact a  team member immediately. It Takes A Village Play Cafe is not responsible for any lost items.

When your session is over, please promptly vacate the Play area to help us efficiently clean between sessions. We play a fun little song to help the little ones along, as parents we know they never want to leave!

You are welcome to take pictures and videos of your own children/children in your group or your party for personal use only. It Takes A Village strictly forbids pictures or video recordings of other visitors or other children without consent. Taking pictures or video recording for commercial purpose is also forbidden without prior consent. Please report any suspicious behaviour to a member of our team.

Before entering the Play area, remove any items that may cause injury, damage or get lost such as jewellery, badges, hair clips, or sharp objects like keys.

The presence of chewing gum in the play area is prohibited, it’s just sooo messy and annoying.

If you or your child are unwell please refrain from using the Play area or equipment, we have a flexible reschedule policy and would love to see you when you are feeling better.

It Takes A Village disclaims any responsibility for losses, damages, or theft.

Nappy changes should always be conducted within the facilities provided

Please report any accidents, injuries, or spills straight away to a member of our team.

We love dogs, but only assistance dogs are permitted in the play area. Takeaway customers are welcome to bring well behaved dogs in when they order!
