Research shows that families thrive when they have positive and concrete support, especially in times of need. Our Forward Fam initiative was created to remove barriers to accessing thoughtful play, human connection, and valuable programs that benefit families.
At It Takes A Village, we are committed to supporting local families by:
Partnering with local providers to build strong community connections.
Using donations from ourselves and community members to cover play and class expenses for those in need.
Growing a community fund to support broader projects in our area.
Whether you're looking to apply for sponsored play sessions or want to help families thrive by donating, your contribution makes a real difference.
Apply to the forward fam initative
We are able to offer a limited amount of funded play and workshop spaces each month, if you are struggling with finances, but would still like to enjoy our space then please each out below.
There is no judgement, no conditions, we don’t need to see proof of your earnings or situation. We just ask that you only request these spaces if you have a genuine need so they are allocated to those that may not otherwise be able to visit us.
Spaces will be allocated on a first come first served basis and are limited to one application from the same person per quarter. So if you apply for a space and visit us in September you won’t be able to apply for another funded space until December, this ensures we can support as many families as possible.
